- Essa Suleiman, 45, has appeared in court charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a bladed article following a knife attack in Golders Green.
- The incident in north London on Wednesday morning left two Jewish men, Shloime Rand and Moshe Ben Baila, with knife wounds.
- Suleiman, a Camberwell resident, also faces an attempted murder charge related to a separate incident in Southwark earlier the same day.
- He is a British national born in Somalia who arrived in the UK in the 1990s and was previously reported to the government's anti-extremism programme, Prevent, in 2020.
- Suleiman was remanded in custody.
