Forza Horizon 6 starts its live-service aspect with Festival Playlist Series 1 – Welcome to Japan, the game’s first four-week reward series after launch.
The first Festival Playlist runs from May 21 to June 18 and adds 10 reward cars players can earn by completing weekly events, races, stunts, photo challenges, and other playlist activities. The playlist unlocks after you earn your first Wristband at the Horizon Festival. The exact nature of these challenges in Forza Horizon 6 is currently unknown.

The 2008 Mazda Furai is the grand prize of Series 1. It previously appeared in Forza Motorsport 3 and Forza Motorsport 4, returned in Forza Motorsport 2023, and now makes its Forza Horizon debut through the Festival Playlist.
The Furai was a one-off Mazda concept powered by a modified 450-horsepower 20B three-rotor Wankel engine, and its name means “sound of the wind.” In Forza Horizon 6, it costs 60 points. It’s a monthly reward, so it will be available throughout the whole Series 1 from May 21 to June 18.

The 2010 Nissan 370Z is the second overall Series 1 reward and costs 120 points between May 21 and June 18. Unlike the Furai, the 370Z is a long-running Forza car and is returning after being featured in Horizon 5. The car will likely feature extensive customization options by Nismo.
Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition

The 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition is the first Summer reward, available for 20 points from May 21 to May 28. The Altezza has appeared in Forza before, with the 2004 Toyota Altezza RS200 being featured in Horizon 1 through 4, but the 1999 variant has not been seen yet and is making its series debut. Considering that the car will appear for the first time, it will have a brand new model as well.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR

| Speed | 5.9 |
| Handling | 5.1 |

| Offroad | 5.9 |
The 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR is the second Summer reward and costs 40 points from May 21 to May 28. This is a returning fan-favorite and one of the best options for any suitable off-road activity with its iconic AWD chassis.
Unfortunately, this looks to be the same model that was used in Horizon 5 with left-hand steering.
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Tier | B |
| Performance Index | 555 |
| Speed | 6.4 |
| Handling | 4.9 |

| Braking | 3.6 |
| Offroad | 5.9 |
The 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec opens the Autumn rewards at 20 points, available from May 28 to June 4. It is another returning Forza staple, as Skylines are usually highly sought-after and revered. The R33 GT-R V-Spec has a twin-turbo 2.6-liter engine, all-wheel drive, and will be a B-tier car.
Honda CR-X SiR
| Attribute | Value |

| Speed | 5.7 |
| Handling | 4.6 |
| Acceleration | 4.0 |
| Launch | 3.2 |
| Braking | 2.9 |
| Offroad | 5.5 |
The 1991 Honda CR-X SiR is the 40-point Autumn reward, also available from May 28 to June 4. The CR-X has appeared in earlier Forza games and had a very good power/weight ratio, especially with the power-based upgrades and tuning.
Subaru STI S209
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Tier | B |
| Performance Index | 574 |
| Speed | 6.0 |
| Handling | 5.3 |
| Acceleration | 5.8 |
| Launch | 3.1 |
| Braking | 4.4 |
| Offroad | 5.9 |
The 2019 Subaru STI S209 is the first Winter reward, available for 20 points from June 4 to June 11. The S209 is another fan favorite, but with the amount of Subarus we usually get, it’s hard to pick between them. As is the case with every WRX, it will be a monster rally car.
Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Tier | D |
| Performance Index | 332 |
| Speed | 4.2 |
| Handling | 3.8 |
| Acceleration | 2.7 |
| Launch | 2.5 |
| Braking | 2.7 |
| Offroad | 9.5 |
The 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 is the second Winter reward and costs 40 points from June 4 to June 11. It is a returning Forza off-road build and the heaviest-duty vehicle in the Series 1 rewards. Looks like the car will have a model ported directly from Forza Horizon 5, which is a bit unfortunate.
Toyota Starlet Glanza V
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Tier | C |
| Performance Index | 435 |
| Speed | 5.0 |
| Handling | 3.9 |
| Acceleration | 4.0 |
| Launch | 2.1 |
| Braking | 3.0 |
| Offroad | 5.6 |
The 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V is the first Spring reward, available for 20 points from June 11 to June 18. This is the debut Horizon game for this JDM icon. The Glanza V uses a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine and front-wheel drive, making it unsuitable for something like drifting, but it should still perform well in other categories, especially if tuned well.
Toyota Corolla SR5
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Tier | D |
| Performance Index | 197 |
| Speed | 3.7 |
| Handling | 3.4 |
| Acceleration | 2.2 |
| Launch | 2.9 |
| Braking | 2.2 |
| Offroad | 5.4 |
The 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5 closes the Series 1 weekly rewards at 40 points, available from June 11 to June 18. The Corolla SR5 returns to Horizon after skipping Horizon 5, which also means that it’s highly likely that this Japanese classic will have an entirely new model.
