Fifi Geldof has separated from her husband Andrew Robertson and is "very much in love" with her new beau, according to friends.
Fifi, the eldest daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, celebrated her 43rd birthday in London on Tuesday with her partner Jon Paul Phillips, 46.
The personal assistant has removed her ex-husband's surname Robertson from her Instagram account and now simply goes by 'Geldof', The Sun reports.
An insider told the newspaper: "Fifi and JP are very much in love. She has gone through so much pain in her life and it is lovely to see her happy."
Fifi and her ex-husband, sand sculptor Andrew Robertson, were in a relationship for many years and often pictured at art events in London. They were together when Fifi's younger sister Peaches tragically died of an overdose in 2014.
Devastated Fifi was forced to defend her sister’s reputation from vicious online trolls in the wake of her death.
Fifi and Andrew went on to marry at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, Kent, in 2016. It was the same church which had held the funeral services for Fifi's mother Paula and sister Peaches.
Since their split, Andrew has also found love again and shared pictures on Instagram of his new partner and family.
On Wednesday, Fifi was pictured with new beau JP in Knightsbridge, west London, walking her dog while wearing an oversized hoodie and no wedding ring.
Fifi also took to Instagram to describe how JP had treated her to a £1,300-a-night luxury apartment for her birthday, which included a private cinema room, bar and sauna.
She wrote: “Well this will do rather bloody nicely for the next few days. Lovely birthday surprise staycation from the even lovelier boyfriend.”
It a sign that the relationship is on a firm footing. The couple are reported to have been going out for months, and reportedly stayed at the five-star Chelsea Townhouse in January.
JP is a model and actor, originally from Northumberland, who starred in the 2017 film Kept Boy. He is signed up to the elite modelling agency Ford Models and has been photographed in campaigns for the likes of Ralph Lauren.
His social media profile states he lives on a boat moored on the river Thames. He is the grandson of the French movie star Marika Rivera, who was seen in the 1971 movie Fiddler on the Roof.
