Celtic loan star Julian Araujo could be heading back to Mexico, with Monterrey and Cruz Azul battling it out to sign the full back.
Araujo returned to parent club Bournemouth for treatment on a thigh injury after Martin O'Neill confirmed he would not be fit enough to play again for Celtic in April.
The 24-year-old netted a hugely important injury-time winner at Kilmarnock before his injury and spoke in glowing terms of his time at Celtic.
He has no future with the English Premier League side and could now be set for a return to his homeland.

Mexican champions Cruz Azul are keen on the right back, along with Monterrey, and they are both exploring loan options.
Celtic are unlikely to come back in for Araujo with Alistair Johnston now fully recovered after his long-term injury.
