Jayden Meghoma has penned a heartfelt farewell to "special club" Rangers, following the end of his spell in Glasgow.

The Brentford left-back joined the club on loan last year, making 44 appearances in all competitions under Russell Martin and Danny Rohl, respectively.

In that time, he scored one goal, contributing six assists in the process.

Now, the 19-year-old has confirmed his return to his parent club via a short social media statement.

In full, it said, "It’s been a privilege to wear this badge.

"Thank you to my teammates, staff, and especially the fans for the support this season. @RangersFC is a special club and one I’ll always be thankful to have represented.
