Celtic are reportedly "in talks" to host AC Milan in a glamour pre-season friendly as they ramp up preparations for their Champions League qualifying campaign.
The Scottish champions are looking to welcome the five-time European Cup winners to Glasgow next month in what would be a high-profile test ahead of the new season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via MilanNews.it, “The clubs are close to reaching an agreement” for the match, which is pencilled in for Saturday, July 25 at Celtic Park.
Milan are expected to use the fixture as part of their summer schedule before flying out to Asia just days later for a tour of Australia and Indonesia.

The clash would hand Celtic a major pre-season occasion against elite opposition as they build towards another crack at reaching the Champions League group stage.
Celtic have faced Milan several times in their recent history, most notably in 2007, when a last-gasp Scott McDonald strike sealed all three points in the Champions League group stage.
Most recently, the two sides faced each other behind closed doors in 2020, with the Italian giants running out 4-2 winners at the San Siro in the Europa League.
