World Cup co-hosts Canada kick off their campaign in Toronto against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Jesse Marsch is in charge and looking to guide the co-hosts to their first ever World Cup point.

Bosnia and Herzegovina are more experienced at this level, but still without ever progressing out of the group stage.

They have never had a better chance, thanks to the expanded 48-nation format, but will still need the likes of veteran striker Edin Dzeko to produce the goods on the biggest stage.

Canada will be without key man Alphonso Davies, who will miss his country’s opening game due to a hamstring injury. Jonathan David, the team’s other true star, will be leading the line.

A tough first game for both teams, with Canada being backed by a raucous home crown in Toronto, but facing a stern test in the form of Bosnia.

A point for either team - which would be Canada’s first in World Cup history - would not be disaster territory, with Qatar the weakest team in Group B.
