Body found in search for two missing USF students who vanished from campus

  • A suspect has been arrested in the search for two missing University of South Florida students after one of their bodies was found.
  • Doctoral student Zamil Limon's remains were discovered on the Howard Frankland Bridge but authorities are continuing to search for Nahida Bristy after both students, originally from Bangladesh, were reported missing on April 17.
  • Limon's roommate, Hisham Saleh Abugharbeih, was arrested Friday after barricading himself in a home as police responded to a domestic violence report.
  • Abugharbeih faces preliminary charges of domestic violence battery, false imprisonment, tampering with evidence, failure to report a death, and improper removal of a human body, though a motive has not yet been identified.
  • The search for Nahida Bristy is ongoing, with deputies urging the public to report any sightings. They said they don’t have any indication as to whether she has been harmed.
