Blooming joy

Central Embassy welcomes the season of brightness with the launch of The Living Ground: Hope's Garden, marking the first collaboration between two creative forces -- Vachboy, the artist behind the widely recognised flower character "HOPE" and known for his distinctive Neo-Pop Art style and Eyedropper Fill, a leading experiential design studio.

Together, they will transform the shopping centre into a picnic garden-meets-interactive art exhibition in the heart of the city, to inspire positivity and encourage visitors to reconnect with the value of their true selves. The installation will be on view from now until June 7.

Where hope blossoms

The highlight of the event is a large-scale interactive art installation on Level G, centred around "HOPE", a giant character sculpture standing over 5m, created exclusively for this event. Inspired by an imaginary flower garden, the installation is presented in a purple gradient palette that blends the familiarity of nature with surreal elements, symbolising the moment when dreams begin to emerge within one's thoughts.

HOPE is depicted gently reaching out to touch its own flower petals, representing a return to self-awareness and a rediscovery of the deeply rooted identity within something many people in today's society may have unintentionally forgotten. This act of reconnecting with oneself serves as a reminder of one's own existence and inner value. Surrounding HOPE are the "HOPE'S FRIENDS" characters, further bringing the garden to life with warmth and imagination.

A special highlight of the installation is the moment visitors step in to "hug" HOPE. Instantly, the lights and the expressions of the flower friends transform into joyful smiling faces, reflecting how hope can be shared and passed on from one person to another.

Throughout the venue, visitors can also interact with various flower companions in playful ways. Some flowers gently turn and follow people's movements as if visitors are the sun they are always reaching towards, while others respond when approached by playing soft melodies like a soundtrack to everyday moments that brings warmth and joy to the heart.
