Blind artist to run marathon using AI glasses and app

A blind artist is set to attempt a world first by running a marathon using AI-powered glasses and a volunteer-guided app.

Clarke Reynolds will take on the Brighton Marathon while being assisted remotely through Be My Eyes, which enlists volunteers to help visually impaired people with daily tasks.

By taking on this challenge, the Reynolds hopes to dismantle sight loss stigmas and challenge misconceptions about blindness.

Running for charity Fight for Sight, he aims to complete the 26.2-mile race in under six hours.
