Best Forza Horizon 6 PC settings for more FPS

Forza Horizon 6 can look gorgeous on PC, but the wrong settings will make it feel heavy fast.

Build your settings in such a way that you get stable frames, and at the same time, you get clean image clarity to enjoy the visual beauty of Japan. Cut the settings that cost the most performance for the least visible gain, and you’re good to go.

With that said, here are the best Forza Horizon 6 PC settings for more FPS and visual clarity.

Best Forza Horizon 6 PC graphics settings

My system is equipped with an RTX 3060Ti, 32GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200Mhz, and a Ryzen 5 3600, which closely matches Forza Horizon 6‘s recommended system requirements. I get somewhere between 70 and 85 frames per second while driving.

Setting Value
Brightness Set it as per your liking
HDR No HDR Display Detected
Resolution Your monitor’s native resolution (1920 x 1080 in my case)
Frame Rate Unlocked (variable)
Vertical Synchronization Off
Full Screen On
Show FPS On (personal preference, I like keeping it on)
Motion Blur Short
User Interface Scale 100
TAA Off
NVIDIA DLAA On
Sharpness 0.5
AMD FSR 3.1.5 AA Off
Intel XeSS AA Off
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency On + Boost
NVIDIA DLSS Off
AMD FSR 3.1.5 Off
Intel XeSS-SR Off
AMD FidelityFX CAS Off
Chase Cam FOV 49
Far Chase Cam FOV 58
Driver Cam FOV 48
Dashboard Cam FOV 48
Hood Cam FOV 66
Bumper Cam FOV 58

NVIDIA DLAA, Reflex Low Latency, and FOV sliders all work together to keep Forza Horizon 6 sharp and responsive.

Turning DLAA on will make images look cleaner than basic TAA, especially around cars, fences, and distant objects. There is a small performance cost compared to no AA or simple TAA, so it’s best if your GPU already comfortably hits your target FPS.

NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency reduces the delay between your input (steering, braking) and what you see on screen by better syncing work between the CPU and GPU. With Reflex Low Latency set to on, steering, throttle, and camera movement feel more immediate, especially at high speeds or in tight corners.

FOV controls how wide your camera view is. Chase Cam FOV at 49 and Driver FOV at 48 keep things close to default. Far Chase Cam FOV at 58 and Bumper Cam FOV at 58 widen things slightly, which helps you see more of the surroundings at very high speeds.

The Car Level of Detail set to Extreme controls how detailed your car and rival cars look up close and at a distance in Forza Horizon 6. Environment Texture Quality set to High sets the sharpness and detail of road surfaces, buildings, trees, and ground textures.

Environment Geometry Quality set to High determines how complex and detailed the world geometry is, including props and roadside objects. Car Reflection Quality set to Extreme controls how accurately and clearly other cars and the environment reflect off your car’s body.

Screen Space Reflections Quality set to Off adds real-time reflections on flat surfaces like wet roads; Off saves a meaningful chunk of GPU cost. Raytraced Reflections Quality set to Low uses ray tracing for more physically accurate reflections, and Low keeps the cost manageable.

The Shadow Quality set to Extreme sets how sharp, detailed, and far-reaching shadows are cast by cars, trees, and buildings. Night Shadows set to Ultra enables and refines shadows cast by headlights and streetlights during nighttime driving.

Raytraced GI Quality set to Low uses ray tracing for more realistic ambient lighting and color bleed between surfaces. Shader Quality set to High controls how accurately surfaces like paint, glass, and asphalt react to and render light. Audio Quality set to Ultra sets the fidelity and richness of engine sounds, environmental audio, and effects.

Deformable Terrain Quality set to Extreme determines how realistically dirt, grass, and gravel surfaces deform under your tyres. Particle Effects Quality set to Ultra controls the detail and volume of dust, smoke, sparks, and debris kicked up during races.

Volumetric Fog Quality set to High sets how dense, layered, and realistic fog and atmospheric haze look across the environment. Lens Effects set to High adds camera-style effects like lens flare, bloom, and glare when driving into light sources.

Motion Blur Quality set to Medium controls the intensity and accuracy of blur applied to fast-moving objects and camera panning.
