Banned fighter removed from UFC White House event

  • Controversial UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland was reportedly removed by the US Secret Service from a UFC fan festival, despite claiming he was banned from the event.
  • Strickland had previously stated he was not permitted to attend the UFC Freedom 250 events, which included a press conference and weigh-in.
  • He filmed himself at the fan festival, where he was mobbed by fans, before being photographed escorted away by Secret Service members.
  • In a subsequent video, Strickland suggested he might be going to jail, though he maintained he had not broken any laws.
  • The UFC Freedom 250 event, featuring seven fights and two title bouts, took place on the White House South Lawn, with US President Donald Trump and UFC President Dana White in attendance.
