- Musician Keli Holiday, one half of Peking Duk, was denied entry to the U.S. while attempting to re-enter from Canada for a concert in New York.
- Holiday said that he was “detained” at the border despite possessing valid visa documentation.
- As a result, he was forced to cut his tour short and has since reportedly returned to his native Australia.
- Following the incident, his girlfriend, Abbie Chatfield, separately issued an apology for a “poorly aimed joke” she made in a social media post about President Donald Trump in July 2025, which she later deleted.
- The incident comes after the U.S. laid out new rules for tourists, with foreign visitors asked to provide all of the social media handles they have used in the past five years for vetting.
