Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has raised $65 billion in its latest funding round, at a post-money valuation of $965 billion, putting it well ahead of rival OpenAI.
"This funding will help us serve the historic demand we are experiencing, stay at the research frontier, and bring Claude to more of the places where work happens," said Krishna Rao, Anthropic's chief financial officer.
The company’s valuation has more than doubled from $380 billion in February , reflecting its swift rise as a leading competitor in the AI race and intense investor demand for stakes in frontier companies. Anthropic said its run-rate revenue crossed $47 billion earlier this month.
