Alia Bhatt reveals easy 4-ingredient homemade ‘skin snack’ at Cannes Film Festival 2026; here’s how to make it

During an interview with Marie Claire France, when asked about her beauty secret, Alia Bhatt moved away from talking about expensive serums, facials, or advanced skincare treatments and instead credited a traditional Indian kitchen staple, ghee.

According to an Instagram reel shared by the official page of Marie Claire France, Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt recently revealed a simple ghee-and-jaggery-based recipe commonly made in Indian homes and explained why ghee remains an important part of Indian cooking.

In the video, Alia says, “In India, we cook our food in ghee, at least in my home, and a lot of people do, and it is great for the gut and it is great for the skin.” She also shared her favourite snack made with ghee, jaggery, crushed peanuts, and a little coconut.

Calling it a “skin snack,” she added, “I have it so that my skin looks great and genuinely it works, it really works.”

How to make Alia Bhatt's “skin snack” at home

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon ghee, 1 tablespoon jaggery, 1 tablespoon roasted crushed peanuts, and 1 tablespoon grated coconut.

Method: Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls, and eat fresh.

Alia Bhatt Cannes Look

For the official opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival 2026, Alia Bhatt embraced a glamorous look in a custom-designed outfit by Tamara Ralph. She wore a striking coral-peach column gown featuring a bold sculpted sweetheart neckline and a deep graphic cutout.

Adding an Indian touch to the ensemble, the outfit was paired with a flowing chiffon scarf that trailed behind like a regal dupatta, showcasing how traditional Indian-inspired elements can stand out on one of the world’s most prestigious red carpets.
